Club 327 lands American DJ for New Year’s Eve Celebrations
DJ Topspin returns to Dar after one year.
Club 327 today announced that the American DJ, DJ Topspin, would be the headliner for the club’s New Year’s Eve celebrations. DJ Topspin has become a favorite in Bongo, as he was here just over a year ago to celebrate the two-year anniversary of Groove Theory, a once amonth soulful house music event.
According to Club 327 owner, Mr. Lawrence Kadri, the confirmation of DJ Topspin positions Club 327 as the place for music lovers to be on New Year’s Eve. “At Club 327 we are firm believers in originality in the market. That is why we have positioned Club 327 as the place to be for anyone who loves music” said Kadri “Other locations are doing different things, some are having dinners, while others are having balls, all of this is great as it creates options in the market, Club 327 is the option for people who want to bring in the New Year on the dance floor” added Kadri
DJ Topspin is widely recognized for his eclectic ear as well as his mastery of a wide range of musical genres including Top 40, Hip-Hop, Rap, Old School, Soulful House, Reggae, and more giving listeners amazing options on the dace floor. His style has been described as “Cognac-Smooth” and perhaps this is why he was also selected for the evening, as Hennessy Cognac has partnered with Club 327 for the New Year’s Eve Celebration. When not on the turntables that night, DJ Topspin is expected to meet & greet lucky guests in the Hennessy VIP Suite within Club 327.
Tanzania is a destination that ranks high on DJ Topspin’s list of global party spots as he even passed on a New Year’s Eve party in the Central American country of Panama this year to return to Dar es Salaam. “Tanzania has a special place in my heart” said Topspin “It is the very first country I ever visited in Africa and changed my whole perception of the mother land, I am very excited to return,” added Topspin.
New Year’s Eve festivities kick off at 9pm on the 31st and DJ Topspin is expected to start spinning a little before midnight and continue deep into the morning. Admission is 30,000/= and admission is restricted to those aged 21 and above.
