    MASHINDANO ya kitaifa ya kuhifadhi Quran tukufu yamemalizika jana, huku walemavu wa viungo wakiwa kivutio cha aina yake, kwa kuonyesha maajabu.

    Walioshangiliwa na hata kuwatoa machozi watazamaji walikuwa ni Ummy Kuluthumu Swaleh Saidi kutoka Pemba, ambaye hakuwa na miguu wala mikono pamoja na  Seif Salim Said ambaye ni mlemavu wa kuona na kusikia, waliweza kusoma vizuri bila kubabaika huku wakiwapita hata wale waliokuwa na viungo kamili.

    Mashindano hayo yalimalizika jana Dar es Salaam katika ukumbi wa Diamond Jubilee ambapo yalihusisha washiriki 72 kutoka Tanzania Bara na Visiwani.Walemavu hao pamoja na wengine sita, walizawadiwa fedha taslim  pamoja na fimbo za kuwawezesha kutembea.

    Nafasi ya mshindi wa kwanza kwa wavulana ilikwenda kwa Abdul Hamid na msichana alikuwa Suria Ally Bakari ambao kwa pamoja walipewa  Bajaji na fedha taslim sh. 500,000. Washindi wa mashindano hayo yaliyoandaliwa na Eshe Sururu Foundation, yaligawanywa katika makundi matano, kwa upande wanawake na wanaume, huku washindi  wengine wakiondoka na pikipiki, baiskeli, vyereheni na fedha taslim.

    Katibu wa kamati ya maandalizi, Issah Ramadhan Mohamed alisema kuwa madhumuni ya kuandaa mashindano hayo ni kuibua ari kwa vijana wa kiislam waweze kusoma Quran Tukufu  kwa mustakabali wa maisha mema.
    Alisema yalishirikisha wasichana 38 na wavulana 34 ambapo kila upande alitoka mshindi wa kwanza hadi wa tatu na yaligawanywa kwa ngazi tano ikiwemo kuhifadhi Juzuu 20,10, tano na tatu.

    RAIS wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania Jakaya Kikwete anatarajia kuzindua ujenzi wa barabara na kufungua rasmi kivuko cha Ruvuvu mkoani Kagera.

    Taarifa ilio tolewa na Katibu mkuu wa wizara ya Ujenzi Balozi Herbert Mrango kwa vyombo vya habari inasema kuwa Mheshimiwa Raisi Kikwete atazindua kivuko hicho Julai 27 mwaka huu. Kivuko hicho chenye uwezo wa kubeba tani 35 ikiwemo magari madogo 4 na abiria 80 kwa pamoja,  kinatoa huduma ya kuvusha magari na abiria katika mto Ruvuvu eneo la Rusumo

    Alisema kabla ya ufunguzi wa kivuko hicho, Rais Kikwete ataweka jiwe la msingi kwa ajili ya ujenzi wa barabara ya Kigoma-Biharamulo-Lusahunga yenye urfu wa kilometa 154, Julai 26 mwaka huu. “Jumapili tarehe 28 Julai Rais Kikwete ataweka jiwe la msingi katika barabara ya Kyaka-Bugene-Kasumulo yenye urefu wa kilometa 59.1 tukio litakalofanyika katika kijiji cha Omugakorongo” alisema Balozi Mrango.

    Alifafanua miradi yote mitatu inagharamiwa na Serikali ya Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania na kwamba kutekelezwa kwa miradi hiyo itasaidia sekta ya usafirishaji na kukuza uchumi wa mkoa wa Kagera. Aliongeza kuwa barabara na kivuko hicho vitaimarisha huduma ya usafirishaji katika mkoa huo na kuboresha biashara na usafiri kati ya mkoa huo na mikoa mingine pamoja na nchi za Burundi, Rwanda na Uganda.

    Waziri wa Habari, Vijana, Utamaduni na Michezo Dk. Fennela Mukangara amewashauri vijana nchini kushiriki  kambi ya Dunia ya vijana inayotarajia kufanyika mwishoni mwa mwezi huu katika ukumbi wa Milimani City jijini Dar es Salaam.
    Waziri Dk. Mukangara ameutoa ushauri huo hivi karibuni wakati akiongea na vijana wa kikundi cha Mambo Safi kilichopo Kata ya Kimara jijini Dar es Salaam.
    Alisema kuwa vijana kushiriki kwao katika kambi hiyo kutawawezesha kujifunza mambo mengi ikiwa ni pamoja na utamaduni wa watu kutoka nchini Korea na China pia watakutana na watu kutoka mataifa mbalimbali ambapo wataweza kubadilishana mawazo na hivyo kujengeka kifikra.
    “Kambi hii ya vijana ni nzuri kwenu kushiriki kwani mtajifunza mambo ambayo hamkuwa mnayafahamu hapo awali ambayo yatawasaidia katika maisha yenu ninaamini wengi wenu mtashiriki”, alisema Dk. Mukangara.
    Kwa upande wake Viola Massawe kutoka  International Youths Fellowship  (IYF) alisema kuwa malengo waliyonayo ni kuwakutanisha vijana 2000 katika maudhui ya badilisha FIKRA kutoka mtazamo hasi kwenda mtazamo chanya pamoja na tamasha la Muziki wa Cantata.
    Massawe alisema kuwa mshiriki wa mkutano huo ambaye ni kijana anatakiwa kulipia kiingilio cha  shilingi 10,000/=   kwa gharama hizo atapataT-shirt, kitabu , chakula na malazi kwa muda wa siku tano na  cheti pindi atakapomaliza mafunzo.
    “Kutakuwa na hotuba na mafundisho kuhusu elimu ya ufahamu, tamasha la muziki za Gracias kwaya, michezo ya utamaduni ya kimataifa, masomo ya Academy kwa lugha za Kispanish, Kichina, Kirussia, Kikorea, Kiingereza, TAE-KWON-DO na Marathon”, alisema.
    Kambi hiyo inaandaliwa na Wizara ya Habari, Vijana, Utamaduni na Michezo kwa kushirikiana na International Youths Fellowship  (IYF) itaanza tarehe 29 Julai, hadi tarehe 2Agosti mwaka huu.
    Kambi ya vijana imekuwa ikifanyika nchini kuanzia mwaka 2009 kwa mwaka jana vijana 1000 kutoka pande zote za Tanzania waliweza kushiriki huku wengi wao waliweza kuishi maisha mapya kupitia kambi ya IYF  kwa kupewa fikra ya maana na mtazamo chanya juu ya mambo ya maisha yao.

    Miili ya Askari wa Jeshi la Wananchi wa Tanzania JWTZ waliouawa Darfur wiki iliyopita  Sajent Shaibu Shehe Othuman wa Mpendae na Koplo Mohamed Juma Ali wa Kwarara imekabidhiwa leo kwa familia zao mara baada ya kuwasili katika Uwanja wa ndege wa kimataifa wa Zanzibar.

    Marehemu hao wawili wenye Asili ya Zanzibar ni miongoni mwa Askari saba wa JWTZ waliuawa walipokuwa wakilinda amani chini ya Umoja wa Mataifa na Afrika UNAMID,huko Darfur.
    Miili ya marehemu hao imewasili majira ya saa 9 alasiri kwa ndege ya JW 90 34 aina ya Boing ikitokea katika Hospitali ya JWTZ Lugalo Jijini Dar es Salaam.

    Mara baada ya kuwasili Uwanjani hapo Miili ya Marehem hao ilipokelewa na Katibu mkuu Afisi ya Makamu wa Pili wa Rais Khalid Mohamed Salum akifuatana na Mwenyeji wake Bregedia Jeneral Kamanda wa Bregedi ya Nyuki Sharif Sheikh Othuman Viongozi wa Vyama na Serikali,Wanafamilia pamoja na Wananchi kwa ujumla.

     Aidha huzuni ziliendelea kutanda kwa ndugu na Jamaa waliofika kupokea maiti hizo za Wapiganaji wa Amani ya Dunia chini ya mwenvuli wa UNAMID.

    Kwa mujibu wa Taarifa kutoka Ofisi ya Makamu wa Pili wa Rais Shughuli za Mazishi zitafanyika kesho saa nne za asubuhi  katika makaburi ya Mwanakwerekwe nje kidogo ya Mji wa Zanzibar.

    Aidha shughuli hiyo ya Mazishi itaambatana na taratibu za kijeshi zitakazofanyika Makaburini hapo.

    Kampuni ya Adrenaline, ambao ni waandaaji wa tamasha hilo wameiambia mwananchi kwamba litakuwa tamasha la mfano kwa Afrika Mashariki nzima na linatarajia kuvuta maelfu ya watu kuhudhuria kutokana na kuleta wasanii wakubwa na wa kimataifa.

    Ice Prince anayetamba na nyimbo kama Oleku, Olofofo, Superstar na Baby anatarajia kufanya onesho lake la kwanza nchini Kenya tarehe 27 ya mwezi huu ambapo ataambatana na mwanamuziki mwenzake Davido ambaye pia anajulikana kupitia wimbo wake mpya wa Gobe, uliovunja rekodi ya kuangaliwa mara milioni moja kwa dakika 25, ulipowekwa kwenye mtandao wa Youtube.

    Homa ya kuwasili kwa wasanii hao imesababisha wasanii kutoka kenya kupania tamasha hilo huku dhamira ikiwa kuwafunika wanigeria hao wanaotamba katika medani ya muziki duniani kote ambapo SautiSol, wamekuwa waki’twee’ mara kwa mara kuongelea jinsi watakavyoonesha maajabu katika tamasha hilo.

    Tamasha hilo kubwa na la kimataifa linatarajiwa kufanyika katika viwanja vya Ngong Race Course.

    PCI is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing disease, improving community health, and promoting sustainable development worldwide. PCI Tanzania is concluding the initial phase of Food for Education (FFE) three years program in Mara region. In partnership with Bunda and Musoma Rural District Councils, and with support from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), PCI will implement an expanded, follow-on 3-year program (2013-2016).

    1.    Senior Program Manager (1) – Musoma
    Senior Program Manager will provide overall program management and leadership for the FFE program to oversee timely, cost-effective, and high quality implementation of program activities and achievement of program objectives.
    Qualifications and Experience
    ·         Master’s degree in community or integrated development, public health, social sciences, or relevant advanced degree in the field of development preferred.
    ·         Minimum of 10 years relevant professional experience in designing, implementing, and managing international development projects, including demonstrated experience in senior leadership positions on these projects.  Direct experience with food aid programs desired
    ·         Strong understanding and up-to-date technical knowledge in three or more fields of: Primary Education, Agriculture, Health Promotion, WASH, Economic Empowerment, Child Rights & Protection, HIV/AIDS.  Strong understanding of national and international development issues in particular relating to children.  Working knowledge of food aid programming and commodity management a plus.
    ·         Substantial experience and knowledge of effective financial management, budget execution, and internal controls.     2.    Senior Finance Officer (1) – Mwanza
    The Senior Finance Officer supports the Finance Director (FD) in providing strategic financial management leadership for PCI, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.  He/she will support the FD to ensure routine monthly finance schedules and reporting deadlines are met.  Through high-level analysis of past spending and projections, Senior Finance Officer provides key input and recommendations to the Senior Program Manager in the development of new budgets as well as the effective management of current programs.
    Qualifications and Experience
    ·         Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or related field; and/or Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant
    ·         5 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility in financial management and accounting

    Site Coordinators will be responsible to plan, organize and manage all site-level operations through coordination with technical coordinators, and direct supervision of program and administrative staff in the achievement of PCI program goals and objectives.

    ·         Bachelor’s degree in community or integrated development, public health, social sciences; relevant advanced degree development, or business and administration preferred.
    ·         5-8 years’ experience in managing development programming, or other relevant senior management experience.
    ·         Knowledge and experience in performance based management, and some technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas Primary Education, Agriculture, Health and Nutrition, or WASH.

    Qualifications and Experience
    ·         Masters degree in agricultural science or agricultural economics (smallholder production, value chain development, and/or related natural resource management technical areas)
    ·         5 years experience in managing or providing technical support to agricultural production and marketing development programming.

    Qualifications and Experience
    ·         Master degree or equivalent, MD, Master of Public Health/Nutrition/social sciences or other related field, RN, or RD desirable. Experience managing community health continuing education programs
    ·         5 years’ experience in managing or providing technical support to community-level public health and nutrition programming.

    ·         Engineer/Master degree or equivalent in water and sanitation or similar domains
    ·         5 years experience in managing or providing technical support to community-level water and sanitation development programming.

    7.    Education Coordinator (1) – Musoma
    This position will facilitate designing of program interventions and coordinate implementation of activities to improve the quality of education through effective approaches including: strengthen technical and administrative capacity of teachers and school administrators; increase availability of school supplies and textbooks; pilot innovative approaches to engage out-of-school girls and evaluate effectiveness through operations research; build capacity of partners and stakeholders.  To supervise and oversee local implementing partner in implementation of literacy-promotion activities including establishment of school libraries; production and distribution of local reading materials; and literacy promotion skills for teachers and pupils.
    Qualifications and Experience
    ·         Master degree or equivalent in education. Experience managing educational support (teacher training) or continuing education programs.

    Qualifications and Experience
    ·         Masters in international development, business administration/management or economics or other related degree preferred (or equivalent in field experience)
    ·         5 years’ experience in managing or providing technical support to community-level savings and loans group programming. Experience implementing gender sensitive, socio-economic programming or managing economic development or livelihoods programs

    Qualifications and Experience
    ·         Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, social sciences or other relevant discipline.

    This position will develop commodity management systems and coordinate logistics for commodity distributions from central warehouse to rural program sites including dispatch, transport and delivery.  To design program interventions and coordinate implementation of activities to support school feeding activities at the school level including stakeholder buy-in and active participation.  To oversee collection, analysis, and reporting of commodity and school feeding related data. To supervise Food Monitors in end use monitoring and stakeholder engagement at the school level. To oversee activities of the Warehouse Manager and Truck Drivers to ensure efficient operations and transport.

    Qualifications and Experience
    ·         Bachelor degree in Logistics or Advanced diploma in material management  or equivalent
    ·         At least 5 years continuing experience in logistics activities
    ·         Commodity logistics systems and software management experience and skill.
    ·         Planning and supervision of logistics activities in large and complex operations. Work with USG (USAID or USDA) commodity programs preferred.
    ·         Knowledge of ERP and other web based management system is an added advantage

    11.Food Monitor (4) (2 in Musoma; 2 in Bunda)Objective of the Position:       
    Food Monitors will coordinate and monitor commodity management and logistics systems at the school level to ensure efficient delivery of commodities; safe and hygienic storage and handling; equitable and accountable distribution to the end user; and timely and accurate records and reporting at the school level.  To ensure all relevant stakeholders at the community level are engaged, informed, and trained to manage commodities and implementation of school feeding activities at the school level.
    Qualifications and Experience
    ·         Diploma in Community development, Rural development or Social work
    ·          2-3 years experience of working with the community in development or humanitarian assistance projects, with a strong preference for experience in food aid programming
    ·         Commodity management software and systems skills.
    ·         Have worked at supervisory level or food monitor or trainer
    ·         Experience of working with INGO in Food Aid projects is an added advantage

    12.Procurement Officer (1) (Mwanza)
    This position will provide oversight and management of the procurement for the country office through timely planning, application of donor and PCI policies in acquisition of reliable, cost-effective, high quality products and services for the successful achievement of program.
    Qualifications and Experience
    ·         Bachelor Degree in Logistics & procurement management or Advanced Diploma in Materials Management or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (BBA)
    ·         Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement management with an international non-governmental organization.

    Picha ya pamoja mara baada ya  kuuzinduwa mfumo mpya wa usajili wa Vizazi  na vifo kupitia mkakati wa usajili wa watoto wa umri chini ya miaka 5 bure jijini Mbeya,hafla hiyo inayoratibiwa na RITA,imefanyika mapema leo kwenye Uwanja wa Ruanda Nzovwe,mkoani Mbeya.Mpango huo umefadhiriwa na mashirika mbalimbali likwemo shirika la UNICEF,DFTDA (iliyokuwa CIDA Canada zamani) pamoja na Shirika la Wafanyakazi la kujitolea (VSO).
     Naibu Waziri wa katiba na Sheria,Mh, Angellah Kairuki akizindua mfumo mpya wa usajili wa Vizazi  na vifo kupitia mkakati wa usajili wa watoto wa umri chini ya miaka 5 Mkoa wa Mbeya,hafla hiyo imefanyika mapema leo kwenye Uwanja wa Ruanda Nzovwe,mkoani Mbeya,kulia kwake ni Afisa Mtendaji Mkuu wa Wakala wa Usajili, Ufilisi na Udhamini (RITA), Philip Saliboko na kushoto ni Mkuu wa Wilaya ya Mbeya Mjini,Dkt.Norman Sigalla na wa pili kulia ni Mwenyekiti wa bodi ya Ushauri RITA,Bwa.Vincent Mrisho na wageni mbambali wakilishuhudia tukio hilo adhimu kabisa.Shughuli nzima inaratibiwa na RITA.
    Mgeni Rasmi,  Naibu Waziri wa katiba na Sheria,Mh, Angellah Kairuki akimkabidhi mmoja wa akina mama aliyejitambulisha kwa jina la Fides Samson akikabidhiwa cheti cha kuzaliwa cha mtoto wake mwenye umri chini ya miaka 5,mara baada ya kuzindua mfumo mpya wa usajili wa Vizazi  na vifo kupitia mkakati wa usajili wa watoto wa umri chini ya miaka 5 Mkoa wa Mbeya,hafla hiyo imefanyika mapema leo kwenye Uwanja wa Ruanda Nzovwe,mkoani Mbeya.Mpango huo umefadhiriwa na mashirika mbalimbali likwemo shirika la UNICEF,DFTDA (iliyokuwa CIDA Canada zamani) pamoja na Shirika la Wafanyakazi la kujitolea (VSO).
     Baadhi ya akina mama wakiwa na vyeti vya kuzawaliwa vya watoto wao wanye zaidi ya wiki mbili tangu kuzaliwa kwao,mara baada ya kabidhiwa leo na Mgeni Rasmi,  Naibu Waziri wa katiba na Sheria,Mh, Angellah Kairuki mara baada ya kuuzindua mfumo mpya wa usajili wa Vizazi  na vifo kupitia mkakati wa usajili wa watoto wa umri chini ya miaka 5 bure jijini Mbeya,hafla hiyo imefanyika mapema leo kwenye Uwanja wa Ruanda Nzovwe,mkoani Mbeya.Mpango huo umefadhiriwa na mashirika mbalimbali likwemo shirika la UNICEF,DFTDA (iliyokuwa CIDA Canada zamani) pamoja na Shirika la Wafanyakazi la kujitolea (VSO).

     Baadhi ya Wakazi wa jijini Mbeya wakiwa wamekusanyika kwenye uwanja wa Ruanda Nzovwe mapema leo wakati  wa uzinduzi wa mfumo mpya wa usajili wa Vizazi  na vifo kupitia mkakati wa usajili wa watoto wa umri chini ya miaka 5 Mkoa wa Mbeya,hafla hiyo imefanyika mapema leo kwenye Uwanja wa Ruanda Nzovwe,jijini Mbeya.
    Mwakilishi Mkazi wa shirika la UNICEF hapa nchini,Dkt.Jamal Gulaid  akizungumza mbele ya wakazi wa mji wa Mbeya (hawapo pichani) mapema leo wakati wa uzinduzi wa mfumo mpya wa usajili wa Vizazi  na vifo kupitia mkakati wa usajili wa watoto wa umri chini ya miaka 5 Mkoa wa Mbeya,hafla hiyo imefanyika mapema leo kwenye Uwanja wa Ruanda Nzovwe,jijini Mbeya.
     Baadhi ya akina mama na watoto wao wakifuatilia kwa makini yaliyokuwa yakijiri kwenye hafla fupi ya uzinduzi wa mfumo mpya wa usajili wa Vizazi  na vifo kupitia mkakati wa usajili wa watoto wa umri chini ya miaka 5 Mkoa wa Mbeya,hafla hiyo inayoratibiwa na RITA imefanyika mapema leo kwenye Uwanja wa Ruanda Nzovwe,jijini Mbeya.
     Baadhi ya  Wageni waalikwa na wawakilishi kutoka mashirika mbalimbali ya Kimataifa wakifuatilia  uzinduzi wa mfumo mpya wa usajili wa Vizazi  na vifo kupitia mkakati wa usajili wa watoto wa umri chini ya miaka 5 Mkoa wa Mbeya,hafla hiyo imefanyika mapema leo kwenye Uwanja wa Ruanda Nzovwe,jijini Mbeya.
     Mwenyekiti wa bodi ya Ushauri RITA,Bwa.Vincent Mrisho akifafanua jambo kwa Baadhi ya Wakazi wa jijini la Mbeya  (hawapo pichani) kuhusiana na uzinduzi wa mfumo mpya wa usajili wa Vizazi  na vifo kupitia mkakati wa usajili wa watoto wa umri chini ya miaka 5 Mkoa wa Mbeya,hafla hiyo imefanyika mapema leo kwenye Uwanja wa Ruanda Nzovwe,jijini Mbeya.Aidha Bwa.Mrisho aliongeza kuwa mkakati huo hauwalengi watoto walio chini ya miaka mitano tu bali ni sehemu ya mfumo mpya wenye lengo la kuwapa nafasi wananchi  walio zaidi ya miaka mitano kujisajili na kupata vyeti vya kuzaliwa.
